Howard University Homecoming Weekend!!!! Style Check!

Sooooooo one weekend I look forward to yearly is my Alma Maters homecoming weekend.  Howard University's Homecoming is an epic experience to be apart of!!!! Alumni, current students, celebrities and people looking to have a good time come from far and near for this yearly event!  Howard Homecoming is truly like No OTHER!  Hotels sell out! and Traffic becomes gridlocked!  Rappers mention it in their songs!

Every year Homecoming consist of many events, Gospel Show, Fashion Show, Celebrity Basketball Game, Comedy Show, Poetry Cyper, RnB Show, Yard Fest, Parade and the Football Game.  There is something for everyone not to mention the wide array of parties held each night throughout DC.

During the weekend my plan was to take pics of peoples outfits because when you come to homecoming you must!...well most people want to look their best!  I didn't get all the shots I wanted... (cause I was to busy having fun) so I will show yall what I have,,, and will do better next year! lols

 

 

 

 

 

 

This years Homecoming was a BLAST!... for me at least... I got to see old friends, enjoy the events and most improtant,.... PARTAYYY!!! .... Hope you liked it!!!!!!

What's your veiws?

Ummmm....Penn State ppl can say what they want... In my opinion their reputation is shot!  PA is one thing... but to people across the country/world... is penn state really more then the popularity of the football team? How does the non-actions of the football directors and school administration reflect on the school? Should Joe Pa have been fired???? yay, nay??? Well what if it was your child?

Monday Evening... & Omega Optical!

Monday evening (9-19-11) I attended a fashion event, which was apart of a series of many events held throughout the city called "The Philadelphia Collection." This event in particular was called "An Evening of Extravagant Shopping, Fashion Exhibits and Award Ceremony." The Philadelphia Collection was started to encourage Philadelphians to boost the city's economy through their retail spending efforts.... Monday's event was held to honor retail businesses that have been up and running in the city for a decade or more and also, to give three up and coming designers exposure.  TULIP was there!!! :) .....

The event was help by celebrity stylist Anthony Henderson and Omega Optical.  Through the duration of the night, I got a chance to meet the staff and the owner of Omega Optical.  Meeting them was such a great experience... they were fun, welcoming and they reminded me of a family.  They even supported and gave me good encouragement with starting/running Tulip!! Aside from the great staff the store also offers a great product!  They offer many different styles of high-end eyewear....and you have a great choice of brands!!! Prada.....Gucci.....and even Ray-Ban...Omega Optical has the works! when it comes to eyewear and service!!! :)

Germantown Fashion & Arts Festival Style Check!! FALL EDITION!!

Hey Lovers!!

Yesterday I attended the Germantown Fashion & Arts Festival.  I must say it was a great event to have in the neighborhood.... a great way to see old friends and a good place to go on a day when there wasn't much else to do :/.   There were many attractions; vendors, musical acts, spoken word artists and most of all the FASHION!  There where a lot of designers that presented their collections...fit for many different markets.......on the other hand I was mostly focused on the crowd....and what they were wearing..... It was a chilly mid-September afternoon and people's minds (clothing wise) was definitely directed towards the upcoming season...Soooooooooo here goes......
